Christopher L. Daly Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Daly is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Alternative Capital LLC. Mr. Daly is responsible for Synergy's investment operations and oversight. He is primarily engaged in the evaluation of Synergy's underlying investments.

Mr. Daly Graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Criminal Justice. Prior to forming Synergy Alternative Capital, he was a 22-year Wall Street veteran having been a Managing Director at Olivetree Financial LLC, Limited Partner at Weeden & Co L.P, Managing Director at BTIG LLC, Managing Director at International Strategy and Investment group LLC (ISI), and a Director at CIBC World Markets. He holds securities licenses 24, 7, 63 and 55 with Finra.

Mr. Daly resides in Rye with his wife of 18 years and three sons. Over the past 20 years he has been involved with many charitable and philanthropic organizations. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Archbishop Stepinac H.S. in White Plains NY, and a member of the C.Y.O. Board for Resurrection School in Rye NY. He has coached many youth sports teams in Westchester including basketball, baseball and lacrosse.

Doug Killip Advisor on Tax Issues Related to Transactions, Primarily in the Commercial Real Estate Industry

Doug Killip recently retired from private practice as a tax partner following a 30-plus year career representing clients on the taxation of investment in real estate. Doug has extensive domestic and international transactional experience and expertise in the tax laws applicable to partners and partnerships, REITs, exempt organizations, sovereign wealth funds, treaty-based and other offshore investors, FIRPTA/FDAP withholding, offshore investment regimes, UBIT/UDFI, REMICs/other securitization vehicles, tax credit and off-balance sheet lease and finance structures, tax-deferred exchanges, state and local taxes, and investments in natural resources, renewable and traditional energy, and distressed companies and securities.

Michael J. Daly Chief Financial Officer

Michael J. Daly is the Chief Financial Officer of Synergy Alternative Capital LLC. Mr. Daly has more than thirty years in the financial services industry, including twenty-eight years with UBS and the former Swiss Bank Corporation. While at UBS/Swiss Bank Corporation, he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer of the Americas, Global Head of the Investment Bank Group Internal Audit function, and the Global Head of the UBS Group Sarbanes Oxley initiative.

Mr. Daly received an undergraduate degree from Manhattan College, a graduate degree from Pace University, and although no longer active in the practice of public accounting, he qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.

Mr. Daly resides in White Plains, NY. Over the past forty years he has been active in leadership capacities with various civic, charitable and philanthropic organizations. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, a member of the Montefiore Health System, Inc.

Steve Gargano Chief Operating Officer

Previously Steve Gargano served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Product Development and Customer Support at U.S. Bancorp Fund Services within the Alternative Investment Solutions Division. Prior to joining U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, Mr. Gargano was the Managing Director and Head of the Planning, Strategy, and Implementation Group at Mariner Investment Group. Before joining Mariner, he held positions in Deloitte & Touche’s investment management consulting group, Gabelli Asset Management as Product Controller for Alternative Investments, and started his career at Arthur Andersen as an auditor in the financial service industry asset management and capital markets group specializing in brokerage and hedge funds.

Mr. Gargano graduated from Harvard Business School, as well as with honors from Cornell University in Applied Economics, Management, and Accounting. He serves as a District Director on Cornell University’s Business School Board and Cornell University's Advisory Council. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a participating member of the NYSSCPAs.
